Magic: Legends looks like Diablo

Gathering storm.

Game Informer has released the first gameplay footage of Magic: Legends.

The action role-playing spin-off of Magic: The Gathering, which is due out on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One at some point in 2020, lets you play as a Planeswalker, choosing from a number of classes including the Mind Mage and the Geomancer. You can play with up to two other players in co-op.

The video below shows pre-alpha footage of the Mind Mage and Geomancer in action. It's all very Diablo.

The developer is Cryptic, maker of MMOs such as Neverwinter, Star Trek Online and the now shuttered City of Heroes.
