Lost Planet 2 co-op demo next week

Only on Xbox Live. Goldies go first.

Capcom will roll out the Lost Planet 2 multiplayer co-op demo next week on Xbox Live.

Gold subscribers get access 19th August, while the Silver hordes need wait until 26th August to play. There's no word on PC or PS3 demos, but we're checking with the publisher now.

The co-op demo offers up to four of you an intense battle against a massive insect boss. You can pull its legs off or be swallowed and fight out from the inside. There are laser guns to help you do this, or you can climb aboard a VS mech suit with up to two others.

Because of Lost Planet 2's co-op focus, Capcom has added various squad-support mechanics, such as weaponry that boosts friendly attack and defence, and the ability to share life-giving T-ENG juice to hurt allies.

Lost Planet 2 will be released on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 next year.
