Looks like there's a Halo Wars 2 open beta next week

Leak Cortana camera.

Halo Wars 2 will be available to try next week, a leaked Xbox Store listing suggests.

The Halo Wars 2 open beta is listed for release on Monday, 13th June, and will last a week, until 20th June.

Monday is when Microsoft will hold its annual E3 press conference. The beta will presumably be announced for immediate download right then and there.

"Be among the first to experience the explosive return of real-time strategy to the Halo universe in the Halo Wars 2 Multiplayer Beta for Xbox One," the listing reads.

You can see the listing for yourself by looking at the Xbox profile of Microsoft mouthpiece Major "Larry Hyrb" Nelson. The beta is listed under the games he follows (thanks, Lifelower).

Support for online play with up to six people is included. There's no mention of an open beta on Windows 10 PC.

Halo Wars 2 was announced last year and is being developed by Total War studio Creative Assembly.
