Killzone 2 hits one million PSN players

Leaderboards point to high uptake.

Killzone 2 has now logged more than one million players, according to the official leaderboards (thanks PS3center).

The PS3-exclusive first-person shooter was released just two months ago on 27th February, and has since broken the one million sales threshold worldwide, having sold over 600,000 units in the US in the two days at the end of February and then March combined.

Sony plans to continue supporting the game online with DLC, the first bundle of which - the Steel & Titanium Map Pack - is due out today for USD 5.99. For that you get two new maps.

Check out our Killzone 2 gamepage for more on that and the game itself.
