Dragon Age: Inquisition video shows off next-gen world

"It's our most ambitious game to date!"

BioWare has released a new Dragon Age: Inquisition video that shows off the very pretty Frostbite 3-powered world of Thedas.

Characters are shown as well, but the video is designed as a tour of the beautiful geographic sites you'll clap eyes on in BioWare's newest fantasy role-playing game.

Look at that water! Those mountains!

"Dragon Age: Inquisition is BioWare's first next-gen game. It's also our most ambitious game to date!" wrote producer Cameron Lee on the game's website. "Nowhere is this more visible than in the incredible size and diversity of locations, life, and hidden places you'll discover on your journey."

Later, he added: "The world's population is based on an emergent system that adjusts what you'll encounter based on how your actions tip the balance in the area. You'll see towns attacked by bandits, deer fleeing from wolves, giant's feeding on bears, and countless other scenarios."
