Deadly Premonition Xbox Live price fixed

Rising Star's desired £14.99 tag instated.

Deadly Premonition's Xbox Live Games on Demand price has been amended, Rising Star Games has informed Eurogamer.

The cult survival horror game now correctly costs £14.99 to download.

Rising Star Games last week advised fans, via Eurogamer, not to buy Deadly Premonition at the erroneous price of £19.99.

In a statement issued today to Eurogamer, Rising Star Games was happy to confirm that the problem has been resolved.

"We've had some problems with the pricing of Deadly Premonition via Games on Demand," admitted product manage Yen Hau. "Working with Microsoft we've managed to resolve these issues.

"The drop in price means fans can now download this title at our originally desired price of £14.99.

"We’d like to thank everyone for their patience while we had the issue resolved."

Deadly Premonition divided opinion. Eurogamer sat on the we-like-it side of the fence, our Deadly Premonition review awarding 7/10.

Deadly Premonition, as with most divisive games, went on to gain cult status from a devout fanbase. But why? Eurogamer investigated the cult of Deadly Premonition last week.
