Celebrate God of War's anniversary with some freebies
Oh boy!
Last year's excellent, reinvigorated God of War launched a year ago this week and, to celebrate, PlayStation has a couple of nice freebies for you.
Right now, you can download a snazzy God of War dynamic theme from the PlayStation Store which shows daddy Kratos and BOYYYY Atreus messing about in a boat on the Lake of Nine.
On Wednesday, a free God of War PS4 avatar set will also be available.
"Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for embracing the new God of War and for helping Santa Monica Studio rise up to a new beginning as well," studio boss Shannon Studstill said in a message to fans. "From our whole team to you, that has meant everything to us. Now, we have a long journey ahead."
God of War recently cleaned up at the BAFTA Game Awards, winning Best Game, Best Performer for Jeremy Davies, Best Music, Narrative, and Audio Achievement gongs. It's a safe bet this isn't the last we've seen of Kratos...
