007 Legends: New gameplay trailer reveals release date

Features Moonraker mission.

007 Legends launches on 16th October, a new trailer has revealed.

That's a Tuesday, the day games launch in the US. We're checking with Activision now to see whether it's a global date.

The trailer reveals mission one of the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 shooter: Moonraker, which is based on the 1979 film of the same name starring Roger Moore. Five more missions will be revealed ahead of launch.

Legends will knit together story elements from a total of six 007 films, including the new movie. It's being developed by Eurocom, the studio behind The World Is Not Enough for N64 and the more recent GoldenEye 007 for Wii.

The 007 Legends trailer is stuck on the end of the first trailer for the new James Bond movie, Skyfall.
