Windows 10 will let you stream Xbox One games to PC, tablets

Fable Legends PC confirmed with cross-platform play.

Microsoft's upcoming Windows 10 will let you stream Xbox One games to PC and tablets, the company has announced.

Xbox boss Phil Spencer revealed the feature in today's ongoing Windows 10 livestream, where he showed off Forza Horizon 2 gameplay being streamed from Xbox One to a Microsoft Surface laptop.

Gameplay is streamed over your local Wi-Fi connection to associated Microsoft devices running Windows 10 - whether that's a desktop PC, notebook or tablet - and be controlled with an Xbox One pad.

The presentation also included the reveal of a PC version of Fable Legends, in development alongside the Xbox One edition at Lionhead Studios.

With Fable Legends, you'll be able to link up PC and Xbox One versions of the title and play together, cross-platform.
