Will Project Dark come to Europe?

"Wait and see," says Namco Bandai.

From Software's Project Dark, announced at the Tokyo Game Show as a 2011 PlayStation 3 exclusive, may see a European release, Namco Bandai has teased.

The UK arm of Japanese publisher Namco Bandai told Eurogamer this morning to "wait and see" when asked about a potential publishing deal for the dark fantasy.

Namco Bandai published From Software's Demon's Souls on these shores. A representative told Eurogamer Project Dark "is not open for discussion yet", and "there is nothing to be revealed in terms of Europe yet," but added: "Wait and see."

While Demon's Souls was a PS3 exclusive, and Project Dark was revealed as a PS3 exclusive in Japan, the game's official website lists it for both the PS3 and Xbox 360.

According to Eurogamer's Keza MacDonald, who attended Sony's Tokyo Game Show conference, Project Dark looks like Demon's Souls 2 in all but name. The same team and the same director, Hidetaka Miyazaki, are in charge.
