Watch: Dishonored 2's tutorial lets you choke your Dad

Dishonored 2 is a lovely game, but it's also very familiar. Even with the addition of an entirely new protagonist, the core experience is largely unchanged from the first (not that that's necessarily a bad thing, mind). Anyway, with that in mind, you might be tempted to skip Dishonored 2's tutorial.

Don't. For one thing, it's a neat little prologue which bridges the gap between Dishonored and Dishonored 2 - deepening the relationship between Emily and Corvo by showing how they used to train together. More importantly, however, it also contains a combat section which lets you grab Corvo from behind and choke him for all he's worth. You can watch the whole thing in the video below.

It makes sense, I suppose - after all that happened to Empress Jessamine Kaldwin in the first Dishonored, it's unsurprising to learn Emily has a smother complex. I struggled to come up with a better pun than that - feel free to add your own in the comments below.
