Vote for Mega Man Legends 3 heroine

Capcom is inviting its fans to help develop Mega Man Legends 3 by submitting ideas for gameplay, bosses, characters and other elements.

You'll be able to do that via the new Capcom Dev Room, where you can already go to vote on your favourite design for the game's heroine.

Nine developers with historical connections to the series - including Capcom R&D overlord Keiji Inafune - have submitted designs.

The vote will decide which of the designs becomes the female star of the game, which is due out for Nintendo 3DS and is something of a labour of love for Inafune.

The veteran developer described it as his "dream" to make the game when it was first announced.
