Two Worlds II UK release still TBC

As SouthPeak delays US launch.

SouthPeak has officially delayed the US release of Two Worlds II from October 2010 to January 2011.

But the state of the UK launch remains unclear: a spokesperson told Eurogamer yesterday the date was still "TBC".

Commenting on the US delay, SouthPeak said: "There's a reason for everything and although we feel that the game is truly at AAA level, we want Two Worlds II to be absolutely flawless when it launches in the North American market."

Two Worlds II was poised for an autumn 2010 release, but when pressed by Eurogamer earlier this month SouthPeak and retailers were non-committal.

Soon after, European publisher Zuxxez announced a one month delay for Two Worlds II on the continent and pushed the date back to 21st October.

Things aren't exactly looking up.

Two Worlds II is a fantasy RPG for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. Here you'll find swords, shields, magic spells and potions. There's also an exciting co-operative multiplayer element stuffed in. What's more, the game's "surprisingly good", according to Christian Donlan's preview for Eurogamer earlier this year.

Two words: rat punching.
