Trine PC demo available now
Three-way fantasy platform puzzler.Frozenbyte has popped out a PC demo for promising platform game Trine.
The 461MB file can be downloaded from GamersHell or FileFront.
Trine, which is also in development for PSN and XBLA, is a side-scrolling physics-focused platformer. The twist comes when using three unique characters to solve puzzles and progress through levels.
The nimble thief Zoya can leap and grapple and shoot arrows, for example, while the sturdy knight Pontius is at his best pummelling baddies up close. Amadeus the wizard, on the other hand, can push, pull, levitate and conjure blocks.
So keen on Trine are we that we offered our in-depth hands-on impressions of Trine back in May, and will have a review very soon.
Finnish developer Frozenbyte (Shadowgrounds, Shadowgrounds Survivor) said the PSN version would be out in June, but time is ticking away. The official website only lists Q2 2009 as the date.
According to our review code, however, the PC version of the game is due out on 10th July.
