Trials Evolution may not be released on Xbox Live Arcade during 2011.
A Microsoft rep said at New York Comic Con 2011 that the game will be released next year
"It'll be next year," Daniel McConnell told Howcast. "2012."
What does developer RedLynx say about that?
"We haven't set an official release date for Trials Evolution," began the studio's ominously washy response to Eurogamer.
"We've said in the past we'd like to get it out sooner rather than later, but it's more important for us that the game is completely polished, finished and ready before we release it. So we haven't committed to any dates yet.
"The information in the video is simply a miscommunication."
When asked whether Trials Evolution would be out in 2011 or 2012, RedLynx replied: "When it's done."
RedLynx told Eurogamer in June that it was aiming for a 2011 release, "sometime between the end of summer and the end of the year".
Eurogamer flew out to RedLynx HQ in Finland earlier this year to preview Trials Evolution.
"There's simply so much to this true evolution of a treasured gaming franchise for its devotees to be excited about," gushed John Bedford.
