Make video, make money.
Activision has worked out how to sign up for YouTube and is giving away GBP 1000 to people who create the best skater videos to mark the release of Tony Hawk's Proving Ground. The tagline is: "Every skater has a story. Create yours."
Tony Hawk's already done one but he probably can't win so that's all right. He says that the reason he loves skateboarding is that there's always something new to do. He also says don't use swearwords or licensed music and don't use SKATE to make your video. Cads.
At the time of writing, Tony's only competition for the money he can't win breaks the second rule (assuming it's not actually by Dave Grohl, anyway), but does feature some amazing stunts riding up walls and doing other wacky stuff.
