Star Wars Kinect has dancing mini-game

Ready to gyrate your buttocks?

Star Wars Kinect has a dancing mini-game, the US ratings board has revealed.

The Xbox 360 exclusive asks budding Jedi masters to use their body movements in activities including dance tournaments, pod racing and Jedi duels, according to the ESRB.

The ESRB's colourful rating synopsis details the dancing mini-game:

"In the dancing mini-game, some female characters perform suggestive moves (e.g., gyrating their hips/buttocks) and wear revealing outfits (partially exposed cleavage/buttocks). The words 'damn' and 'hell' can be heard in the dialogue."

Elsewhere, the ESRB reveals that you use lightsabers and telekinetic powers (that'll be the Force, then) to battle aliens and robots, which collapse to the ground when killed.

In one sequence you shoot down alien spaceships from a first-person perspective. In another you control a giant creature and attack civilians. "Cries of pain and crunching sounds can be heard as humanoid characters are thrown, stomped on, and eaten," the ESRB said.

In August Microsoft delayed Star Wars Kinect, saying it needed a little more development time.

"Microsoft and LucasArts have elected to move the launch of Kinect Star Wars beyond holiday 2011 to ensure the full potential of this title is realised," Microsoft said.

A Kinect Star Wars Limited Edition Xbox 360 console is ready and waiting.
