SSFIIT HD Remix gets XBLA date

Punch your friends next week.

Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix will be released on 26th November via Xbox Live Arcade.

That's according to Capcom's blog, anyway, which jokes that the game "could be just a few days away" under a massive screenshot that says "Coming Nov 26 to Xbox LIVE Arcade".

SSFII Turbo HD Remix is a 1080p remake of Capcom's classic beat-'em-up featuring reworked art, online multiplayer and more fan service an air-con buffet.

There's no word on the PlayStation Network release, but that may be more to do with the rest of the blog post, which is promoting an NXE "Branded Destination Experience".

Based on our dabblings with New Xbox Experience, that means it's got a few shuffly panels detailing the game and offering easy access to trailers, picture packs, themes and other downloadables, with a spiffy image in the background.

As for its PSN release, the obvious candidate is 27th November, since PSN updates drop on Thursdays, but we'll check with Capcom. Let's hope the game doesn't fall foul of the usual European delay for localisation.

(Update: Hrm. Capcom officially said "no comment" when we asked about the PSN date. Hopefully we'll hear more soon.)
