Scyther can evolve into two different Pokémon, depending on which evolution item you use, in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
The first is, of course, Scizor - the bug and steel-type Pokémon introduced in Gen 2. The second, however, is Kleavor which debuted in Legends: Arceus itself.

Scyther locations in Pokémon Legends: Arceus explained
Scyther, in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, can be found in two different locations in two biomes.
You'll most likely first encounter Scyther in the Grandtree Arena of the Obsidian Fieldlands, which is where you battle Noble Kleavour. Scyther can also be found in the Coronet Highlands in Primeval Grotto.
Scyther appears in both of these locations no matter the day of time or weather, so you shouldn't have any trouble finding one.
How to evolve Scyther into Kleavor in Pokémon Legends: Arceus explained
To evolve Scyther into Kleavor - a bug and rock-type - in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, you need a Black Augurite.
This evolution item can be quite hard to find, so visit our Black Augurite location guide if you haven't found one already.
Once you have a Black Augurite, all you have to do is select the item in your inventory and use it on the Scyther you wish to evolve. It will then transform into your new Kleavor!

How to evolve Scyther into Scizor in Pokémon Legends: Arceus explained
If you want to evolve Scyther into Scizor - a bug and steel-type Pokémon - in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, then you're going to need a Metal Coat.
Metal Coats can be purchased from the Trading Post for 1,000 Merit Points or you may receive one from catching a Scizor in the wild.
Scizors only appear in the Space-time Distortions which occur in Alabaster Icelands and you may find one with higher Effort Levels than the Scyther you wish to evolve.
Once you've obtained a Metal Coat, select it from your inventory and then use it on a Scyther to make it evolve. Now you can enjoy exploring the Hisui region with your new Scizor!
