Capcom has confirmed on its official blog that Sagat and Balrog have been added to Street Fighter IV arcade machines in test locations around Japan.

The post links to home video of both characters, who are "not in their final form".

They are also not playable yet. Instead, "you can fight against them if the right conditions are met in the single-player mode".

The latest build also includes three new locations: Drive-In at Night from the USA, Beautiful Bay from South Asia, and Inland Jungle from South America.

The news comes a week after producer Yoshinori Ono said in a Wired.com interview that Sakura or Ibuki could feature.

At the moment, the roster is Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Blanka, Zangief, Dhalsim, Guile, E. Honda, new characters Abel and Crimson Viper, and of course Sagat and Balrog. Perhaps Vega and M. Bison aren't far behind.

The game has yet to be officially announced for consoles, but even Capcom struggles to keep a straight face when it issues that statement, so don't be surprised when it pitches up on PS3 and 360.
