Brighton-based Relentless Software is working on a new game that it plans to self-publish, according to a job posting on the company's website.

"Despite the current economic crisis, we're pleased to say that we're still hiring," the developer wrote yesterday.

"We have some open positions for our future Buzz! titles and we're also hiring for our self-published Secret Project, more news of which in the coming months."

Relentless is best known for the Buzz! quiz titles, which it produces for PlayStation formats as part of an exclusive agreement with Sony.

However, it does list its Secret Project on a separate page of the site, sporting blurred images.

"Sony keep us very busy with our Buzz projects but there's something bubbling under at Relentless Towers. We've taken everything we've learned about making social games and the result is what, for the time being, is known as Secret Project #1," it says.

Relentless told Eurogamer today that it is not planning to release any more information for the moment.
