PS Network downtime planned

Outage to begin at 4pm UK time.

Sony has announced the PlayStation Network will be taken offline later today so "scheduled maintenance" can take place.

According to PlayStation.com, the downtime will occur between 8am and 2pm PST. That's equivalent to 4pm and 10pm in pounds sterling.

During this time you won't be able to visit the PlayStation Store, or play games online.
