PC Crysis 2 demo announced

EA spreads the love.

A PC demo of upcoming sci-fi shooter Crysis 2 will release, EA has announced.

"At this time, Crytek & EA are glad to confirm that we'll be releasing a pre-launch Crysis 2 multiplayer demo on PC! Stay tuned for details," splurged the official Crysis Twitter account.

The decision follows a raft of complaints by PC gamers about the apparent Xbox 360 exclusivity of the demo.

A multiplayer demo for the game was released for Xbox 360 earlier this week. On Wednesday Crytek said it was working on a patch to address a number of bugs associated with disconnects and screen freezing.

Now all that's left is for EA to confirm a PlayStation 3 demo.
