Notch's Scrolls beats Bethesda

For now.

Minecraft maker Mojang has beaten Bethesda in the Scrolls versus Elder Scrolls court case - for now.

"We won the interim injunction," Mojang's Markus "Notch" Persson tweeted. "We can keep using the name 'Scrolls'.

"ZeniMax/Bethesda can still appeal the ruling, but I'm very happy."

"No matter how this plays out, we should still do the Quake game," Notch joked.

Mojang co-founder Jakob Porser added: "The swedish courts seem to work! Scrolls, shall continue to be named Scrolls!"

"Im very happy that the courts saw it our way and that Scrolls will get to keep its name. Hurray!"
