Improved Harvest Moon on its way to PS2

Wonderful Life clearly wasn't wonderful enough for some.

Marvelous Interactive is planning to release an improved PS2 version of Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life in Japan on November 11th, according to reports, having previously released it exclusively on the GameCube - a version that enjoyed limited distribution in PAL form in Europe courtesy of Ubisoft.

The six-chapter adventure will continue to take A Bloody (Albeit Enjoyable) Age to complete, but there will be various improvements to spice up the journey of our young farmer, which should be revealed in the coming months ahead of the game's Japanese release. (We want to crossbreed animals. And cheat on our wives.)

There's no news at this point as to whether anybody is bringing the game to the US - or, heaven forbid, Europe - but if we hear anything we'll be sure to let you know. For now though, your best chance of playing A Wonderful Life is to pick up the Cube version, and the best place to go if you want any chance of picking it up is probably eBay...
