More details have been revealed of 'Undiluted Platinum', which is billed as the world's first PSP modchip.

According to MaxConsole.net, the 32MB flash storage area fits right inside your handheld and boots up by default. It's designed to let homebrewers muck about to their hearts' content with PSP software - without worrying about those pesky updates that Sony keeps churning out.

You'll be able to write and modify it freely since it comes with a USB connector which runs through the battery compartment, and it's due to go on sale in the US for around $90.
