MTV Music Generator 3 in June
On PS2 and Xbox this time.
Codemasters this week announced the development of MTV Music Generator 3: This Is The Remix, due out on PS2 and for the first time also on Xbox in June 2004.
Veterans of previous versions will need little introduction, but for the rest of you: it's not a game; it's a music creation package that, in the case of this version, allows to create and sample original music tracks as well as remix tunes from the likes of OutKast, Snoop Dogg, Carl Cox and the insufferable Sean Paul.
You can also chuck in samples from your own music collection, and the game boasts a massive range of riffs, beats, bass lines and vocals for aspiring DJs to mould into fully rounded tunes across multiple genres.
As you can see from this batch of screenshots, it's shaping up quite handsomely.
