Xbox 360 gets the F.E.A.R.

Another cover girl.

Spooky first-person shooter F.E.A.R. is on its way to Xbox 360, according to numerous reports.

Apparently F.E.A.R. makes it onto the cover of the next issue of the UK's Official Xbox Magazine, which reveals that the Monolith-made game is hopping the digital gap. In slow motion, obviously - the PC original came out last October.

No details yet on what's changed, but interestingly F.E.A.R. 360 could end up in competition with, er, F.E.A.R. - as developer Monolith has since separated with Vivendi (though Vivendi made off with the F.E.A.R. name) and plans to develop loosely-associated sequels on its own time.

So far it hasn't pledged to do an Xbox 360 game, Monolith's daddies at Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have hinted they might consider next-gen options, although "PC needs to be a focus" according to president Samantha Ryan.

Expect to hear more about F.E.A.R. on Xbox 360 soon - probably at E3 - and don't be surprised if we hear about some more Vivendi PC F.E.A.R. plans while they're at it.
