Good news for Quake-loving Apple fans - publisher Aspyr Media has announced plans to release a version of Quake 4 for Macs.

As you'll know if you read our review, Quake 4 follows the adventures of Matthew Kane as he attempts to fight off the evil Strogg. And it's quite good.

This isn't the first time Aspyr has taken pity on people who don't own a proper computer - the publisher also previously released Mac versions of games from the Call of Duty, Doom and Star Wars series.

Quake 4 is out early next year, and will work on both PowerPC and Intel Macs.
