Joint Operations delayed

NovaLogic has delayed the release of its multiplayer PC first-person shooter Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising until the second quarter of 2004, despite having beta tested the game online with members of the public towards the end of 2003.

Joint Operations, set in near-future Indonesia, casts players either as members of the multinational Joint Operations Force or as a member of a powerful Indonesian separatist group. Both sides are equipped with all sorts of weapons and vehicles on land, sea and in the air, and like other large-scale multiplayer FPS games, teamwork is essential to victory.
