OpFlash 2 still in the works
No, it's not cancelled; it's just "ready when it's ready," says Codemasters.
It's been almost exactly two years since Codemasters first announced military shooter Operation Flashpoint 2 for PC.
Since then not so much as a screenshot has been revealed - leading to inevitable rumblings that the game has been cancelled.
But when we contacted Codemasters to find out if the rumours were true, we found ourselves met with a definitive "No."
"Operation Flashpoint 2 has not been cancelled," said spokesman Richard Eddy, dismissing what he described as "scurrilous rumour-mongering."
"Very much like the first game, it continues at its own pace," he added. "[It's] very much a 'ready when it's ready' title."
So when's it ready then, eh? Looks like we'll just have to wait and see...
