The Ship released on Steam

The other way around, surely?

The Ship is now available to purchase through Steam.

Dubbed a "massively mysterious thriller," The Ship is the first title from Scottish start-up Outerlight - and sees the player taking part in a multiplayer game of hunt and hunted onboard the titular ship.

The idea is that you've been invited there by Mr X, the ship's owner, and must secretly track and eliminate specified passengers without being tossed overboard in a casket yourself.

The Ship is available exclusively through Steam, Valve's digital distribution service, for now, and costs $19.95.

Mindscape recently announced plans to release a boxed version of the game in Europe this September.

We'll have a full review soon. Details of the game and how to get it can be found on the game's official website.
