No Mario/DS bundle in UK

Not currently anyway.

Nintendo currently has no plans to bundle Super Mario 64 DS with Nintendo DS hardware in the UK, according to a statement released by the platform holder this morning which reads: "We currently have no plans to bundle Super Mario 64 DS with Nintendo DS hardware in the UK."

The suggestion that it did plan to bundle Super Mario 64 DS with Nintendo DS hardware in the UK [stop that -Ed] stems from news that it does in fact plan to bundle Super Ma [... -Ed] in the USA - starting 12th June, at the same price you currently pay for a regular software-free hardware pack.

According to reports, retailers EB Games, Best Buy and Sears have confirmed the deal will be in place from the 12th. The idea being, not entirely inobviously, to encourage more people to buy the DS handheld. Something that they should do anyway because it has Meteos and Zoo Keeper on it.

If Nintendo comes up with a plan to bundle Super Mario 64 DS with Nintendo DS hardware in the UK, we'll let you know.
