World Tour Golf is ProStroke

Views on aneurysms unclear.

Remember World Tour Golf? Oxygen Interactive wouldn't be surprised if you didn't - they thought the name was rubbish, and have changed it.

From now on then, the game is to be known as ProStroke Golf: World Tour 2007 - ProStroke being the name of the game's control system.

"Continuing with a generic name that had started as a working title short-changed the game," says CEO Jim Scott.

"Pro Stroke Golf, on the other hand, puts the game's greatest feature right into the title, and makes it clear why this is the most interesting golf title this decade."

Apparently that system "allows you to groove your own swing". Sounds funky.

Right then. World Tour Golf - sorry, ProStroke Golf: World Tour 2007 - is due out on PS2, Xbox, PC and PSP in the next few months.
