Konami confirms Castlevania DS for Europe

Konami has officially confirmed details of its Castlevania game for Nintendo DS, including a European release estimate, a couple of days after the same information first surfaced in a US games magazine.

We're not going to write it all up again, so you might as well head here to read about the game, which is a direct sequel to GBA title Aria of Sorrow and makes use of the DS's stylus control in boss fights.

The Konami release does, however, confirm that Castlevania DS will be released in Europe this autumn - roughly the same timeframe applied to the US version - and furnished us with two parts of the same screenshot to go along with the ones that turned up on Tuesday. You can find those here.
