Square Enix announces Lord of Arcana

PSP title "coming soon".

Square Enix has announced a new PSP game called LORD OF ARCANA.

It looks like Capcom's phenomenally successful Monster Hunter, and it's "coming soon" to Europe.

It's got four-player co-operative multi-player, which - as you'd imagine - allows you to team up with your mates to "face tough monsters and battles together".

The monster art has been designed in collaboration with "world famous" illustrators, although the official blurb doesn't say who they are.

As well as being very shouty, LORD OF ARCANA's got "simple and intuitive controls", so even those unaccustomed to action games can jump right in, which is good.

"Set in the world of Horodyn, players take on the role of slayers trying to get their hands on the incredible power of Arcana," said Sony Computer Entertainment product manager Rob Rutter on the European PlayStation Blog.

There's more over on the newly launched official website.
