Dissidia, 3rd Birthday for spring 2011

Square Enix details impressive PSP line-up.

PSP games Dissidia 012[duodecim] Final Fantasy, The 3rd Birthday, Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together and Lord of Arcana will all be released in Europe between February and the end of spring 2011. Who says the PSP is dead?

First up is new four-player action game Lord of Arcana, scheduled for release in February. It'll be released as a special Slayer Edition, which includes a copy of the game in a Slayer Red case, a 44-page hardback art book and a mini soundtrack CD.

Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together, a reinvention of the classic strategy RPG, will launch "shortly after". Members of the original development team, including director Hiroshi Minagawa, designer Yasumi Matsuno, character designers Akihiko Yoshida and Tsubasa Masao and composers Hitoshi Sakimoto and Masaharu Iwata, have joined forces for the project.

Then, PSP fans will see the release of Dissidia 012[duodecim] Final Fantasy, the wonderfully named follow-up to Dissidia Final Fantasy. It's a curious blend of fighting game action RPG that features characters from across the Final Fantasy universe.

And finally during spring 2011 Square Enix will launch The 3rd Birthday, the latest in the Parasite Eve series. The third-person shooter stars sexy protagonist Aya Brea. As she takes damage her clothes rip off. Really.

Square Enix promises to reveal details of special editions of Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together, Dissidia 012[duodecim] Final Fantasy and The 3rd Birthday "soon", as well as specific release dates for all four games.
