New Pokémon coming to DS

Rangers return for some batonnage.

Nintendo has announced another game in the Pokémon Ranger series is coming to DS.

As reported by IGN, it's titled Pokémon Ranger Batonnage. Playing as a boy or girl Ranger, you will seize the little blighters by using the stylus to run rings around them. Then you can force them to help you as you continue on your quest.

The ever-reliable Wikipedia also reckons the game will feature Pokémon from Diamond and Pearl and make use of Wi-Fi Connection.

Apparently, the word "Batonnage" means "stirring the lees with a stick to increase flavour extraction". Ah, now it makes sense.

More details should emerge soon as Pokémon Ranger Batonnage is out in Japan on 20th March.
