Mortal Kombat DLC season pass unveiled

Warner announces 360-exclusive offer.

A DLC season pass for the Xbox 360 version of Mortal Kombat arrives later this month, publisher Warner Bros Interactive has announced.

Rather than shelling out 400 Microsoft Points a-piece for the game's four forthcoming downloadable fighters, you can get the lot for 1200 Points. Each warrior will unlock for download as they become available.

The pass launches in tandem with the game's first new character, Skarlet, on 21st June. Kenshi, Rain and a further as-yet unannounced new competitor follow sometime thereafter.

NetherRealm Studios' back-to-basics take on the long-running Mortal Kombat series scrapped its way to a commendable 7/10 when it launched on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 back in April.
