Monaco delayed on XBLA the eve of its expected release

It's still coming out tomorrow on PC.

We hope you didn't invite a group of friends over to play Pocketwatch Games' upcoming top-down co-op heist game Monaco: What's Yours is Mine on XBLA tomorrow, because if you did, you may want to sit down. It looks like Monaco isn't going to make its expected XBLA release date of 24th April after all.

The good news: it's still going to be out on PC tomorrow via Steam.

So why the XBLA holdup? The developer noted on its official Facebook page that it "just discovered that there is an issue which requires that we push back our Xbox Live arcade game release date a little." On the plus side, the issue seems to have been resolved, so the delay shouldn't be long. "We've already submitted an update to Microsoft to fix the problem, and as soon as we know that the issue is fixed we'll have a new release date," Pocketwatch explained.

"I know our fans have been waiting a long time for the game, and hopefully they'll have the patience to wait just a little while longer. What's mine will be yours very, very soon!"

Monaco has been a long-time coming as it won the Seumas McNally Grand Prize at 2010's IGF Awards, where it also snatched the Excellence In Design award.
