Microsoft hires ex-Kojima, Bungie staff

To work on new Halo project.

Microsoft has confirmed it's been recruiting some top level talent to work on its new Halo project.

Topping the bill are Ryan Payton, who used to work for Kojima Productions, and former Bungie man Frank O'Connor.

Ex-Gearbox staff member Corinne Yu, id's Kenneth Scott and David Wu from Pseudo Interactive are also now pocketing the MS dollar.

Speaking to Gamasutra, Microsoft Game Studios boss Phil Spencer said it's all marvellous. "[We're] thrilled to have such talented people working to develop new and exciting projects with the Halo universe, and supporting existing projects from studios like Bungie and Ensemble," he confirmed.

There's still little known about the Halo project, but a few weeks ago Spencer told our friends GamesIndustry.biz there are "more than two or three teams" working on it.
