Metal Gear Solid Ultimate HD Collection disappears from Zavvi

Without explanation.

Zavvi's world exclusive Metal Gear Solid Ultimate HD Collection has disappeared from its website.

The Ultimate HD Collection, revealed in August, was to include MGS4, MGS3 (Subsistence), MGS2, MGS1 (via PSN download code), Peace Walker, MG1 and MG2.

The PlayStation 3 exclusive product was down for £69.85 on the website. Only 4000 copies were going be made available worldwide, the retailer claimed.

It was to come in a Steelbook casing, with each copy individually numbered. Five PSN art cards were to be thrown in for free as well.

Now, though, it's gone - and Zavvi has so far been unable to explain why despite repeated requests for comment from Eurogamer.

The game's publisher, Konami, declined to comment.

Eurogamer's Metal Gear Solid HD Collection review snuck in a 9/10.
