Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes is 720p on Xbox One

Konami has confirmed the resolutions and frame-rates for all versions of Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes - and PlayStation 4 comes out on top.

The PS4 version will run at 1080p and 60fps, an improvement on Xbox One, which will run at 720p and 60fps.

The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions will run at an upscaled 720p and 30fps.

Konami revealed the details alongside a gallery of Digital Foundry-style comparison screenshots to show what these numbers actually mean for the game's graphics.

PlayStation 4 will also get a special limited edition console to celebrate the game's release. There's no word yet on a Western launch.
