Metal Gear Solid 4 getting full install support

The new budget-priced version of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots will include an option to fully install the game.

Metal Gear Solid 4 currently installs data at the beginning of each chapter.

Konami Style, Konami's Japanese online marketplace, revealed the new feature and re-confirmed the existance of the game's Trophy support, Andriasang reports.

But while Trophy support will be added as a patch for existing Metal Gear Solid 4 copies, no mention is made of making install support similarly available.

The new version of Metal Gear Solid 4 launches in Japan next month. Word on patch plans for the UK is incoming, Konami has said.
