Mario Kart Wii dated for Europe

Here in April. Officially.

Nintendo has revealed that Mario Kart Wii will be released in Europe on 11th April.

It will cost around GBP 40 and come bundled with the Wii Wheel, but enables the Wiimote, Wiimote and Nunchuk, Classic Controller and GameCube Controller to be used if you are indecisive or frightened of the future.

Inside will be 16 tracks you know about and 16 you don't, plus 10 battle maps to pelt your friends on.

The game will launch alongside a new Mario Kart Channel where you can compare your rankings, share ghosts, chat, race, and join games in progress as a spectator - saving yourself a racing slot for the next course.

In total, 11 of you can duke it out online, or four of you can share a sofa and do it locally.

Oh, and it has motorbikes.
