Kirby 64 hits PAL Virtual Console

Swallows 1000 Wii Points.

Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards is this week's Virtual Console release in Europe, flopping its pinkness suggestively around the Wii Shop.

It wants 1000 of your Wii Points, which is approximately GBP 7 or EUR 10, in order to go round your place, having been an N64 game back in the day.

Kirby 64 was the series' first foray into 3D, and saw the pink blob doing his usual thing of copying enemy abilities through ingestion in order to hunt down 100 shattered crystal shards.

As well as doing the usual, he can combine a pair of abilities to make a better one, and once you're bored of going alone there are multiplayer mini-games for up to four people.

Look out for our Virtual Console Roundup later today where we'll pick it apart along with last week's duo - Super Turrican (SNES) and Psychosis (TurboGrafx).
