Insomniac announces OverStrike
New multiplatform action title unveiled.

Resistance/Ratchet & Clank developer Insomniac Games has unveiled its new IP – OverStrike for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Due in 2012, it's an action title set in the near future that sees you as one of a team of elite agents tasked with taking down a shadowy organisation threatening to overthrow the government.
The squad is made of up four unique charachters, including a thief, scientist and detective, each armed with different "fringe tech" and "exotic weaponry".
Power-ups spotted in a gameplay-free cinematic trailer shown during EA's E3 presentation today include a foam gun, invisibility cloak and force field.
