Ghostbusters, Bond coming to iPhone

Sony Pictures converting catalogue.

Sony Pictures Television plans to convert lots of films and telly shows into iPhone games, including Ghostbusters and James Bond.

Ghostbusters will be out this June, according to IGN, and has players fighting off another supernatural invasion threatening New York.

Bond, due in August, will be called Top Agent, and match players off against various baddies from the tuxedo-clad world. There will be some kind of multiplayer, too.

Sony is also adapting Q*Bert for iPhone with a June launch in mind.

Ghostbusters heads to the current flock of consoles, courtesy of Atari, on 19th June - the 25th anniversary and Blu-ray release of the first Ghostbusters film.

Pop over to Ellie's very recent hands-on impressions of Ghostbusters to see whether this can finally break the curse of the movie tie-in. We hope so.
