It sounds like Gears of War 4 will come to PC

Plus, 1080p 30fps in campaign, 60fps in multiplayer.

Gears of War 4 is - currently - an Xbox One exclusive. But it sounds like that will change.

In a video interview with Game Informer, Gears development chief Rod Fergusson was asked whether Gears of War 4 would come to the PC. His answer came with a smirk: "Possibly."

It would, perhaps, come as little surprise to see Gears of War 4 on PC. Microsoft recently announced Remedy's Quantum Break is set for PC as well as Xbox One, and it's pushing Xbox as a cross-platform service.

And let's not forget Gears of War: Ultimate Edition is out for PC as well as Xbox One.

Assuming Gears of War 4 does come to PC, it'll be interesting to discover whether it includes cross-platform features such as cross-save and even cross-play. Would PC players, using a mouse and keyboard, have an advantage over Xbox One players?

Meanwhile, Fergusson confirmed Gears of War 4 runs at 1080p resolution and 30 frames per second in campaign mode. The multiplayer, however, runs at 60fps.
