Far Cry 4's PC system requirements revealed

Ubisoft's latest is bundled with select Nvidia graphics cards.

Ubisoft has revealed just how tricked out your kit needs to be to play the PC version of Far Cry 4.

The requirements are as follows (via the Ubisoft blog):

Supported OS:

Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8/8.1 (64bit versions only)

Processor:

Minimum: Intel Core i5-750 @ 2.6 GHz or AMD Phenom II X4 955 @ 3.2 GHz

Recommended: Intel Core i5-2400S @ 2.5 GHz or AMD FX-8350 @ 4.0 GHz or better

Memory

Minimum: 4GB

Recommended: 8GB

Video Card

Minimum: Nvidia GeForce GTX 460 or AMD Radeon HD5850 (1GB VRAM)

Recommended: Nvidia GeForce GTX 680 or AMD Radeon R9 290X or better (2GB VRAM)

Direct X

Version 11

Hard Drive

30 GB available space

Sound Card

DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card with latest drivers

To get a more solid idea of how Far Cry 4 will look on a suped up PC, Ubisoft and Nvidia released the following new trailer showing off the enhancements one gets with its high-end graphics cards.

Furthermore, purchasing select GeForce cards from Nvidia comes with a complementary copy of Far Cry 4 for a limited time while supplies last. Cards included in the promotion are: GeForce GTX 980, 970, 780 Ti and 780, along with the 980M or 970M-powered notebooks. This offer can be used with other Ubisoft titles such as Assassin's Creed: Unity or The Crew if those are more your bag.

Far Cry 4 will be out on 21st November on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC in Europe. North Americans will receive it on the 18th.
